  spouse said local congregation meeting they attended they were handing out jw.org pins and most of the brothers/ some sisters were wearing them during meeting.

  speaker was wearing one.

  I just got back from an international convention and man, people put the JW.ORG symbol and text on EVERYTHING. Pins, sunglasses, umbrellas, book bags, EVERYTHING. It's like someone went hog wild on Cafe Press. It's sickening. It's like that scene in Spaceballs when Yogurt shows off the merchandise booth he runs.

  Watchtower Tells Us "Employers Seek JWs Only" Yet Most JW Employers Avoid Hiring JWs, Why?

  here's a thought: we're told over and over how employers sing the praises of their jw employees, sometimes with a vague quote about how 'if we could only hire jws, we would as they are so honest'.

  however, while some jw employers themselves may hire jw employees (usually cheap entry level positions), most don't.

  in fact, many jw's in general who have businesses have a rule not to do work with jws, even those in their congregation.

  I think it can go either way. I know some JW's who employed other JWs with no problems. I know some who have nothing but problems. I know some non-JW employers who don't hire JW's. I know of places that love to hire JW's. In my old congregation a medium sized business loved to hire JWs. Many worked there for years and I guess it worked out for everyone.

  Fake letter to the BOE.

  i'm thinking of scaning a letter to the boe and useing the letter head to make some fake letters and sending them to alot of congros.. it would read something like this.. "dear brothers we are writing to inform you about all the child abuse casers the wts is now in court about and the ones we have quietly settled outside the courts".

  ill name them all and give them links to the courts.. .

  anyother idears??.

  They don't get letters by snail mail anymore. It's all handled through the elder portal on the JW.org site. Not a very well thought out plan.

  A shaved Head

  my wife complained along time that i let my hair grow to long (i don't belive in this anyway) but to make peach i asked her to buzz my hair 4 months ago.... shorter... shorter... let me shave the rest.. it' been shaved since then and i like the yul brynner look.. i feel like pharoah...j.k. at the kh few have questioned... i mean im hardly breaking 1 corinthians lol.

  as for wordly styles this style is almost what a certian governing body member has.... and they know it... they hate sanderson!.

  now i have since experiance the sun on my head in summer...feels good... my wife liking it now.... .

  At Bethel a brother is not allowed to have a shaved head unless he is black and/or already going bald. It is considered 'extreme'

  i don't know whether i should laugh, or run screaming into the night.. tonights "local needs" was titled "are you following 'the slave' "?.

  the theme scripture was 1 peter 2: 21. it was applied that by following jesus steps closely we would then be able to keep up with 'the slave'.

  now i don't know about others, but if i were to follow one person and that meant to keep up with someone else, it would mean that the person i was following was following the other person.

  Fucking hilarious. Just a few years ago brothers were told not to be materialistic and buying electronic gadgets (i fucking hate that word). I remember demonstrations where a brother pretty much fell out of the truth because he was too busy reading manuals for whatever toy he bought. Now they're supposed to buy all this shit.

  Also, what idiot approved a 1,000 computer to hook up to a projector? You could do that with any machine. Sounds like you have some idiots on the elder body lol.

  application to become a bethel family member in the worldwide order of special full-time servants of jehovahs witnesses.this application form should always be accompanied by the letter to bethel applicants (a-9) and the letter to those applying for theocratic schools, bethel service, or other forms of special full-time service (a-63).

  husband and wife should complete separate applications.

  after its approval, the application form should be scanned and sent to the branch as a pdf file through the inbox feature of the jw.org web site.

  It's interesting they ask for an email address. They definitely aren't going to email you for anything. I suspect they use that to internet detective the applicant.
